Sustainable pole house, Whangamata

Builders ‘own home’ being built in two stages. The living and kitchen areas open out on both sides of the house to the extensive covered decking and outdoor living areas. The flooring in the dining/kitchen, entrance area is constructed from solid recycled rimu and the wood burner also heats the hot water in the winter months.

The lower storey will commence late 2015 that will house the two growing boys!
